The Passion of Collecting: Stories in Glass and Ceramics from the Sibrack Collection features 74 works by 60 artists.
You and a guest are invited to experience a private guided tour at the Baker Museum led by Rita and Larry Sibrack, who recently donated their collection to the museum. During the tour, they will share personal insights into their passion for form, color, texture, shadow, and negative space, as well as their deep appreciation for how glass and ceramic art can tell compelling stories.
Free to Baker Museum members. $10/pp payable at the door to the Baker Museum for non-museum members

In June of 2018 Brad went viral around the world! Dry Bar Comedy posted a video on Facebook and it had 36 million views in 10 days. Step into the past on this engaging 90-minute walking tour through Fort Myers, where history comes alive through stories of ambition, rivalry, and intrigue. As you stroll through the city's historic streets, you'll uncover the fascinating tales behind its founding and the larger-than-life personalities who shaped its early days. Blending education with entertainment, this tour offers a vivid look at local history while introducing you to the colorful characters who helped build Fort Myers into what it is today.
Interesting fact: Fort Myers is named after Abraham C. Myers, a Jewish Confederate Quartermaster General. Myers was a graduate of The United States Military Academy at West Point and had a long career in the U.S. Army before joining the Confederacy. He is often noted as one of the few high-ranking Jewish Confederate officers.

Guided Naturalist Walk at Clam Pass

Join Sid Freund, MCA member, Conservancy of Southwest Florida volunteer guide and certified Master Florida Naturalist, for a free guided walk on the boardwalk, beach, and back-bay areas of this beautiful Collier County park and learn about the secret lives of the flora and fauna of this captivating and biologically-rich area.
Clam Pass County Park offers a beautiful beach and a scenic boardwalk through a unique habitat. Learn about the special trees that dominate in this unusual environment and why they are important to all of us. See beautiful shore birds and maybe a surprise visitor or two, such as the not to be forgotten Pileated Woodpecker. Learn about our shells and see what shells and other treasures such as shark’s teeth, the Gulf may have delivered to the shore.
The walk is approximately 2 hours.
Meet at the gazebo at the end of the Clam Pass parking lot at 9 AM. Hat, water, and sunscreen are advised.
Parking is free with a beach sticker or subject to county fee for all day. Entrance to the park is adjacent to the Naples Grande Hotel at the end of Seagate Drive.

The Bird Gardens of Naples

Join us for a private tour of The Bird Gardens of Naples, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bird education, welfare, and conservation. Since 2011, it has served as an avian resource center-offering public education, bird adoption placement, veterinary guidance, and expert advice on bird care and conservation. The organization emphasizes that birds are highly intelligent, emotionally complex animals with long lifespans-sometimes reaching up to 100 years. Through its programs, visitors can learn about the unique personalities and lives of these remarkable creatures.
Guests are welcome to interact with the birds and may bring unsalted nutsand/or blueberries as treats (please avoid peanuts).
A $10.00 non-refundable donation to the Bird Gardens will be given through MCA at the time of registration.

Mark will share a behind-the-scenes look at how productions are conceived, developed, staged, and ultimately brought to life. It's sure to be both an informative and enjoyable evening.
