Not long ago, smart devices were found mainly in the homes of early adopters—now everyone has them! Learning thermostats, security cameras, video doorbells, CO/CO2 detectors, home assistants, smart locks, personal audio, all seamlessly interconnected by mesh wifi routers. 

Two seasons ago, we demonstrated how we implemented carefully selected smart devices in our Florida and northern homes to provide real, practical value.

This season we’ll refresh the session with benefits and limitations of key devices, including our latest additions: smart garage door monitors, smart sprinklers, smart weather stations, smart solar panels!

In this interactive Zoom session, broadcast from Sid’s home, we’ll demonstrate many of the products mentioned above and also  invite participants to share their experience – pluses and minuses --  with their own smart devices.

The session is geared for people that are comfortable using a smartphone but have little or no experience with smart devices.
