In this presentation, Mr. Weiss will:

Examine the effectiveness of prevention via comprehensive healthy lifestyles for, not only robust resilience, but also improved wellbeing.
Identify transferable proven solutions that transform communities to support wellbeing by addressing people, places, and policy.
Summarize how inequities can be effectively addressed by making health and wellbeing a focus for everyone across the socio-economic continuum.
Describe how healthcare costs can be contained by decreasing the need for care as overall health improves.

About the Presenter

Having practiced rheumatology, internal medicine, and geriatrics for 23 years and been President and CEO for 18 years of a 716-bed, two-hospital integrated system, Dr. Weiss now has a national scope focused on prevention as Chief Medical Officer for the Blue Zones Project
