Cabbage Key Lunch Cruise
A coed event
You and a guest are invited to board The Lady Chadwick to cruise from Captiva Island to Cabbage Key for an afternoon of lunch and strolling the grounds of the Cabbage Key Inn.
Family owned and operated since 1986, Captiva Cruises is the ideal way to cruise from Captiva Island. Captiva Island is a magical setting and the perfect starting point. From here, we take you beyond the shore, visiting other barrier islands and introducing you to the breathtaking views and abundant wildlife on the water in Pine Island Sound.
The Cabbage Key Inn and Restaurant was built in 1938 by American playwright Mary Roberts Rinehart. The restaurant, which sits on top of a Calusa Indian shell mound, offers panoramic views of the island and Pine Island Sound as well as delicious food . The walls are lined with signed dollar bills…Jimmy Buffet allegedly got the inspiration to write “Cheeseburger in Paradise” while on Cabbage Key. There is also a short nature trail and water tower to climb.
Total cost for the cruise and lunch is $115/pp
Allow 4-5 hours for the entire trip.
