Tour of The Salvador Dali and Chihuly Museums in St. Petersburg
The Salvador Dali Museum located in St. Petersburg, Florida celebrates the life and work of Salvadore Dali featuring over 2400 works from every moment and every medium of his entire career including oil paintings, original drawings, prints, sculpture, photos, artists' books, etc. Museum collections may be curated to showcase styles, media, historical timelines, themes and the life and work of an individual. Built to honor one extraordinary person's vision, talent and life, The Dali Museum is one such Artist's Museum. We will also enjoy the Dali Alive 360, an immersive experience celebrating the life of Dali. This multi-sensory experience will envelop us in 360 degrees of light and sound, within a monumental new Museum space: the Dali Dome
We will also visit the Chihuly Glass Museum, at no additional cost. Chihuly's glass sculptures are dreamy, abstract interpretations of sea creatures, submerged landscapes and floating tumbleweeds. Meticulously blown and assembled, these glass creations represent decades of work by not just by Chihuly, but by his studio of glass artists.
Our wonderful day includes round trip motor coach, a one hour Docent guided tour of the Dali Museum, admission to the Dali Alive 360 exhibit, and admission to the Chihuly Glass Museum.
This is a coed trip and the cost is $120.00 per person.
