How does our memory change as we age? Why? What can we do to help and adapt to these changes? Perspectives and evidence from Psychology and Neuroscience are shared.

About the Presenter

Steven Yussen holds a B.A. in Psychology from Swarthmore College and a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from The University of Minnesota. Over a 50 year period, he taught and conducted research on memory, learning, and cognitive development as a Professor at the Universities of Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. The author or editor of 5 books and 60 professional articles in developmental psychology, learning, cognitive psychology, and education, he also served as the Dean of Education at the Universities of Iowa and Minnesota, the editor or associate editor of 2 professional journals, a Fulbright Fellow at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a Guggenheim Fellow.
