Photography Discussion Group
The Last Friday of Each Month
The Photography Discussion Group offers members The opportunity to share their enthusiasm for photography in a casual way.
While the facilitator (Neil Stein) guides each monthly meeting, it’s the participants who encourage learning by suggesting topics and sharing their related images, knowledge, creativity and support.
Friendly discussion always energizes these very positive gatherings. Interactive and welcoming, the group also provide a comfortable social atmosphere.
Bring your best photos to share with the group.

An Evening of Jewish Jokes and Humor
Come and be entertained by famous Jewish comedians, including you! Bring a couple of your favorite Jewish jokes to share, and enrich your own repertoire in the process.
Refreshments will be provided.
The MC will be retired Rabbi Frank Muller.
You only have to register once for this event.

Warm up your vocal chords, and join us for this special singing-encouraged (expected!!) screening of the beloved 1971 film, Fiddler on the Roof. Featuring unforgettable songs including "Tradition," "If I Were a Rich Man," and "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," this lavishly produced, life-affirming film about Tevye and his family will have you singing “To Life” all the way home!

MCA Movie Discussion Group
Enjoy eating? Enjoy movies? Enjoy an energetic discussion? Join us for our MCA Film Discussion Group
Each month, the 'movie selection committee' chooses a movie-of-the month, which all members see at their leisure. Then, we meet at host couples' houses (4 or 5 per month) for some food and an interesting discussion about the movie.
The size of the group is limited, based on the number of couples who can host.
Walking Tour
Naples Art District is "An alliance of independent painters, ceramicists, sculptors, jewelers, photographers and more, our members support arts education, in part, by offering classes in various mediums to the public and to the promotion and growth of top quality art in Southwest Florida. Their goal is to instill in the community an awareness of, and appreciation for, original works of art."
The tour will be led by Paula Brody, the organization's president. Paula is a winner of many awards, especially for unique three-dimensional paper sculptures.
The Tour will include Paula's studio and other artists including Ceramists, jewelry designers, wood working, glass and more if time permits.
Suggest you wear comfortable walking shoes.
Cost: $20 per person, or per couple.

MCA is happy to welcome back to Naples, Sarge. Three years ago, he performed for a sellout crowd at Off the Hook Comedy Club. Comedian Sarge Is an entertainer who has performed worldwide to adoring audiences. A triple threat - a musical piano savant, amazing improvisational comedian and singer. His book, “Black Boychik”, traces his hilarious, inspirational life of twists and turns, ups and downs.
Celebrate the third night of Hanukahh with candle lighting and comedy. Light refreshments will follow the show.
Greatest Jewish Composers Piano Concert

In this one-of-a-kind presentation, international concert pianist and former University Professor Peter Simon both performs and narrates the history and greatness of Jewish composers who have positively influenced western music throughout the years.
From European Classical to Israeli music to Broadway show tunes, Mr. Simon both entertains and enlightens his audience with this presentation of the history of the great Jewish Composers. Among the composers that Mr. Simon will present will be Felix Mendelssohn, Earnest Bloch, Maurice Ravel, Paul Ben-Haim, Jacques Offenbach, Irving Berlin, Richard Rogers and George Gershwin.
A native of Denver, Colorado, Peter Simon has toured the world giving concerts, lecture-recitals and children's shows. Among his achievements were performances in Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, four tours of Israel, as well as European and Asian tours. He has also performed in over 500 U.S. cities, believing that good music should be enjoyed by everyone regardless of age or background.
Light refreshments will be served after the concert.
