    with

    Jim Sernovitz

Travel the world through the exquisite photography of Jim Sernovitz.

    Zoom Only.

    Your itinerary is:

May - THE PERSIAN GULF-LANDS OF OIL AND MONEY

Everyone has heard of the wealth of Dubai, come join us as we visit Dubai’s even richer, but lesser known, neighbors of Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Qatar. With ancient ruins, burning desert wastes, beautiful oasis, and ultra-modern cities, this part of the world has it all. From ancient bazaars to the tallest building in the world; from racetracks for camels to hospitals for falcons, we will visit places and see sights that until very recently were shut off from the rest of the world.

So get your passport ready and register today.

Please Note:  You only have to register once for all sessions.  You will receive reminders (with the zoom link) one week and 1 day before each session.

Jim's programs will resume in the Fall.

    Civil Rights Journey

The Civil Rights journey is one through which you will become empowered and inspired to come back home and get involved by realizing that you currently have the power to make a difference. You will meet with the Reverends who worked and strategized with Dr. King, as well as the people who participated in the march from Selma to Montgomery.

In addition to these primary sources, we will also discuss Jewish involvement in the Movement and how our Passover story correlates so strongly with the Civil Rights story.

By visiting the Equal Justice Initiative, you will understand that Civil Rights is not an issue that only impacted a specific people in the 1950's & 60's, but remains an ongoing issue today, and being fought for by a variety of groups that have not felt that they had a voice in the world.

Cities visited include Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham, Alabama.

The price includes hotels, ground transportation admissions and programming costs. It also includes all meals (beginning on Friday breakfast and ending with Sunday breakfast), Sunday lunch not included.

    Cost for a Couple: $2470.00 For a Single: $1490.00

Airfare to ATL is not included.

Deposits must be received by July 15th.
